The Delonghi S1000 

This unit is very different from other split portables as the S1000 has the actual compressor and condenser in the external unit. Therefore this unit has probably the lowest noise levels you will find in any type of portable air conditioner. The flexible refrigerant lines are very easy to connect and disconnect as you simply pull a quick release lever to undo and redo the coupling.

Condensate Pump

Like all air conditioners you will collect condensate as the air conditioner dehumidifies. With the Delonghi S1000 the condensate is pumped automatically from the indoor unit out through the flexible line and discharged externally.

Electrical Connection

The indoor unit plugs directly to a 13-amp socket. The power to the external unit is fed from the indoor unit via the flexible lines.

Wall Brackets

Both indoor and external unit can be wall mounted using special Delonghi brackets (additional Extra)
